 1. While working on Assignment 5, I learned much about using PowerPoint. All in high school we used Google Slides and I had never used any Microsoft sites until college. I like how PowerPoint is organized and how it is easy to find everything. When using the action buttons it got a little confusing trying to hyperlink them to the right slides but I think I have them all figured out.  2. As a future 3rd-grade teacher, I anticipate using data collection tools like Google Forms or Qualtrics to gather insights into student learning, classroom engagement, and parental feedback. For example, I could use surveys to assess student understanding of math concepts after a unit or collect data on reading preferences to tailor literacy instruction. Additionally, parent surveys could help me understand their perspectives on their child's progress and classroom communication. These tools will enable me to make data-driven decisions that enhance my teaching strategies and better support my s...

 1. During my K-12 education, I experienced distance learning primarily through platforms like Google Classroom, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. These tools were effective in keeping students connected with teachers and assignments, but they lacked the engagement of in-person learning. Google Classroom helped organize coursework, while Zoom and Teams facilitated live lessons, though technical issues sometimes disrupted learning. I haven’t used VR for education, but I’d love to experience it because it could make lessons more immersive, especially for subjects like science and history. Interactive simulations could enhance understanding and engagement beyond traditional video lessons. 2. Open Educational Resources are freely accessible teaching and learning materials that educators and students can use, modify, and share. These resources include textbooks, lesson plans, videos, and interactive activities, often available under open licenses like Creative Commons. OER helps reduce costs a...

 1. Working on the Web Design assignment helped me develop layout, color theory, and responsive design skills. I used contrast,  dark background, light text, alignment,  consistent spacing, proximity, and grouping- related elements to enhance usability. I enjoyed the creative freedom but found debugging layout issues frustrating. As a future teacher, these skills will help me create classroom websites, interactive resources, and digital newsletters. 2. One creative way to use QR codes in my classroom is for a scavenger hunt that reinforces learning. I could place QR codes around the room, each linking to a question, clue, or interactive activity related to a lesson. For example, in a reading unit, students could scan a QR code to watch a short video about a book’s theme, and then find another code that leads to a comprehension question. This makes learning more engaging and interactive while integrating technology into the classroom.  3. To address this, I would adv...

 1. On a teacher page that I found, there was not a lot of information. It had the teachers name, grade she teaches, and her contact information. Then she had a few student resources with links to things like the school website and Florida Early Learning. Under her important documents tab she has a volunteer application for the school and a basic skills kit. When you click on the basic skills kit it sends you to a pdf with all the things that students need for her class. Then she also has a distance learning resources tab with links to packets for different subjects if there is a child learning and doing work from home.  https://www.leonschools.net/Page/45278  2. As a future 3rd grade teacher, I plan to use technology to stay organized, save time, and keep my students engaged. I will use Google Classroom to post assignments, share resources, and communicate with students and parents easily. There are lots of websites that will help me organize my lesson plans and kee...

 1. My experience with blogging has been good. I like how it's so easy to post on Blogger. I wish there was a way to make it more colorful instead of just having a blank white paper. I have learned how to work this website. I think it is a lot like Google Docs and I used Docs all throughout high school so I have found it pretty easy to work with.  2. A tool that I may use when teaching is Google Classroom. I used Google Classroom in middle school. It shows you all of your classes and it is easy to access for students. You are able to have a code for the classroom so only your students can join it. You can post assignments, and your students will be able to submit them through Google Classroom. When I grade assignments, I am able to see where all of them are instead of having assignments on paper and risk losing them. I really liked using Google Classroom in middle school. We used it the most when we were quarantined and had to do school from home.  Google Classroom 3. I l...
