 1. On a teacher page that I found, there was not a lot of information. It had the teachers name, grade she teaches, and her contact information. Then she had a few student resources with links to things like the school website and Florida Early Learning. Under her important documents tab she has a volunteer application for the school and a basic skills kit. When you click on the basic skills kit it sends you to a pdf with all the things that students need for her class. Then she also has a distance learning resources tab with links to packets for different subjects if there is a child learning and doing work from home.  https://www.leonschools.net/Page/45278  2. As a future 3rd grade teacher, I plan to use technology to stay organized, save time, and keep my students engaged. I will use Google Classroom to post assignments, share resources, and communicate with students and parents easily. There are lots of websites that will help me organize my lesson plans and kee...

 1. My experience with blogging has been good. I like how it's so easy to post on Blogger. I wish there was a way to make it more colorful instead of just having a blank white paper. I have learned how to work this website. I think it is a lot like Google Docs and I used Docs all throughout high school so I have found it pretty easy to work with.  2. A tool that I may use when teaching is Google Classroom. I used Google Classroom in middle school. It shows you all of your classes and it is easy to access for students. You are able to have a code for the classroom so only your students can join it. You can post assignments, and your students will be able to submit them through Google Classroom. When I grade assignments, I am able to see where all of them are instead of having assignments on paper and risk losing them. I really liked using Google Classroom in middle school. We used it the most when we were quarantined and had to do school from home.  Google Classroom 3. I l...

 1. I think that using AI in a K-12 setting can be useful to a certain level. I think that at the elementary grade level, there is not much use for AI for the students as much as it is useful for the teachers. Teachers can use AI to do a variety of things. They can use it to make lesson plans, develop activities, etc. However, I think there are better resources teachers can use at the elementary level to do these things. In middle school and high school, I think the students have figured out how to use AI, and it becomes more of a problem than a resource to them. Plagiarism happens, and many students use AI to cheat.  2. The first social media tool I used was Pinterest. I got this app on my phone because I had found my mom's profile, and I wanted to make one. She had lots of recipes and activities saved as ideas for my brothers and I to do. I wanted to create my own account and save things that I liked and wanted to do. I found it beneficial because I was able to follow my fri...

I found a standard that says, "Use appropriate voice and tone when speaking or writing." This is important in the classroom because when using the right tone, students can understand an effective way to communicate. This will teach young kids to be able to switch to different tones when they need to. They will need to know what different tones to use when speaking to friends, teachers, or parents. Using different tones and voices can help students build good relations. It makes it easier to avoid misunderstandings between the children and the teachers. The students will maybe take into consideration their classmate's feelings and what another person feels like when expressing thoughts or speaking. This standard lays a foundation for wholesome academic and social achievements. I do feel prepared to implement this standard based on my current skill level because I have been babysitting for a couple of years and I feel that I have helped the young kids I babysit this standa...
